ABERDEEN-
Kenny Wayne Shepherd
>From the album Ledbetter Heights
Written by Bukka White

Tabbed by Aaron Beyersdorff (all my own work)

Both parts are played with a slide. This song sounds really sweet
and when you realize how easy it is it's a lot of fun.
You really have to listen to it to get the rhythm, though.

Tune to an open E- low to high E-B-E-G#-B-E

For Riff 1, the G# string is pushed down with the index finger
and I play with the slide on my middle finger. Other than Riff 1
and then the similar part on Riff 4 there is no fingering, just
the slide.

The acoustic and electric parts are very similar. If you're determined
enough to learn both parts it's not hard to play around with and figure out.
This is actually kind of a mix of the two.
You just have to play around with it. But this is basically it.

/ = Slide from the nut
\ = Slide off to the nut
~ = Tremolo (just kind of slide it back and forth real fast)

Like I said, this is only the acoustic part and if you're ambitious
enough to try the electric part it's not hard to figure out from
what I have here. I'm prety sure I have all the riff repetitions
right but don't hold me to them. There's a lot of repetition.
By the way, I don't have a slide so I use a piece of
copper pipe. Be resourceful!
